Hello, my name is Shaun Nicholson. This is my last semester at SUNY Empire State College. I am pursuing my Bachelor in Science degree, majoring in Cultural Studies with a concentration in Communications in Media. I am an avid, and mentally and physically committed bowler. I bowl all the time, and want to become a Professional Bowler in the future. When I am not bowling, most of the time I am playing video games. Video games are my favorite media. They have been a part of my life ever since I was young, and I can play them for hours because of the content they have and the positive experiences I have playing them. Video Games also contribute to Media Art for their graphics, design and content. Combining my big personal interest in Video Games and having them being my favorite Media Art, and how popular Video Games are becoming in the media made this a perfect blog topic, and a perfect Final Media Arts Project.
This is my blog for my Media Arts course at SUNY Empire State College. This blog’s content is centered around my Media Arts Project, which is going to be on a Let’s Play/Digital Story video for a video game. The blog contains important assignments that are completed for my Media Arts course at Empire State College. The assignments include learning activities, content from discussion forums, and other course information that goes through the production stages and help me complete for my Media Arts Final Project.
